1Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Alice Discord bot, the MG Alice AI desktop application (the “Desktop App”) and related services (the “Service”), including this website and any connected features (such as account status, usage reporting, and premium management). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Although Discord may permit users aged 13 and older, this Service is intended for adults only.

3Description of the Service

The Service is designed to support Discord communities and users, including features such as:

• Co-op matchmaking and community utilities.
• Gameplay assistance and informational features.
• Usage reporting (e.g., activity summaries, bond energy usage).
• Persistent “memory” features (storing limited user-provided facts) and bond/relationship mechanics.
• Premium features and subscription management (where available).
• The Desktop App: a desktop companion for Windows that can chat, remind, speak, listen, open apps and websites, play music through your browser, and (only if you allow it) notice the game you're playing or look at your screen.
• Features that cost Bond Energy on the desktop, shared with the Discord bot.

The Service may evolve over time, including adding, modifying, or removing features.

4The Desktop App

1. Licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Desktop App on your own devices. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute it, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.
2. Updates. The Desktop App checks for updates and installs them automatically after you restart it. Updates are downloaded from our official releases page and verified before installing.
3. Permissions you control.The Desktop App can only do things on your device that you allow in its Privacy settings (for example opening apps you added, opening websites, playing music, noticing the game you're playing, looking at your screen). You are responsible for what you allow. You can change or switch off any permission at any time.
4. Your screen and your microphone.If you ask Alice to look at your screen, or turn on “Watch with me”, pictures of your screen are sent to us and to AI providers to produce her answer. Do not use these features while showing information you do not want processed in this way (for example passwords, private messages, or other people's personal information). If you use the microphone feature, audio is processed on your device and only the resulting text is sent.
5. Your own AI key.You may use your own AI provider key. You are responsible for that provider's terms and costs. Keep your key private.
6. Third-party services and content. Features may open or rely on third-party services (for example YouTube, ElevenLabs, GitHub, Hugging Face). Their content and terms are theirs, not ours.
7. Bond Energy on the desktop. Actions in the Desktop App use Bond Energy at the prices shown in the app. Prices and plan amounts may change; the current prices are shown in the app and on the website.

5Consent Gate for Certain Features

Some features may require an explicit consent step before use (for example, features that process message content using AI and/or store limited memory facts). If a consent gate is shown, you must accept the Terms and Privacy Policy to proceed.

6Privacy and Data Processing

Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. In summary, the Service processes content you choose to send to Alice in Discord to generate responses. Certain features may store limited information (such as usage counts, bond/plan status, and user-provided memory facts) to provide the Service.

7Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes:

• Attempting to bypass cooldowns, rate limits, or other access controls.
• Spamming commands or messages to degrade service performance.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing the Service or other users.
• Using the Service for illegal activity or to violate Discord’s terms or community rules.
• Modifying, tampering with or bypassing the Desktop App, its permissions, its updater, or Bond Energy limits.
• Using the screen or microphone features to capture or process other people’s private information without their consent.

8Enforcement and Restrictions

We may apply automated or manual restrictions to protect users and infrastructure, including rate limits, temporary timeouts, and other protective measures. Continued misuse may result in longer restrictions or loss of access.

• Temporary timeouts for spam or abuse.
• Warnings or access restrictions for repeated violations.
• Feature-specific limits (for example, memory caps by plan tier).

9Premium Features and Payments

If you purchase a subscription or premium feature, payment processing is handled by third-party providers (such as Stripe). We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Subscription status and related identifiers may be stored to provide premium access.

Energy packs are one-time purchases that do not expire and are only used after your monthly Bond Energy. An energy pack can be refunded within 7 days of the purchase, as long as its energy has not been used. After 7 days, or once the energy has been used, the purchase is final.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. The Service is not professional advice (including medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice). You are responsible for how you use the information provided.

Alice can make mistakes, including when she describes your screen or understands your voice. The Desktop App is provided as is; we are not responsible for what you choose to open or play through it.

The Service is an unofficial, fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord, Shift Up, or Goddess of Victory: Nikke or its publishers. “MG Alice AI” and the Alice bot are our own project names.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

12Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make significant changes we may show a notice in the Desktop App.
